While I was travelling abroad for a month, a pipe burst in my basement which resulted in a significant portion of the basement getting flooded with water. Senior Services discovered the problem on their scheduled visit. They dealt with the insurance company and plumber in my absence. They also were on sight to direct the crew sent by the insurance company who came to clean up the basement. I was told by my insurance company that if someone had not checked the house on a regular basis, they would not have honored my claim.
